This page explains what we collect on this site, why, and what you can do about it. Short version: we collect your email (and your phone number, if you give it to us), we use it to keep you posted on wakey and ask what you think, and we don't sell or share it with anyone.

Who we are

wakey is a project by JB Romeijn (KvK 97267600), based in the Netherlands. For anything privacy-related, contact the details below.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you sign up for the waitlist.
• Your phone number, only if you choose to give it, so we can reach you on WhatsApp.

We don't use cookies or tracking scripts on this site. No analytics, no ad pixels.

Why we collect it

To let you know when wakey launches, to ask what you think while we build it, and to message you on WhatsApp if you left a number. That's it. We won't use your details for anything else, and we won't send it to anyone outside this project.

Where it's stored

Your data is stored with Supabase, on servers in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). Supabase acts as our data processor and doesn't use your data for its own purposes.

How long we keep it

Until wakey launches, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you can ask to see, correct, or delete your data at any time, or withdraw your consent to be contacted. Email us and we'll handle it ourselves, there's no automated system behind this yet. You can also file a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, the Dutch data protection authority.

Changes

If anything here changes in a meaningful way, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
